Our client is looking for an Account Manager in the mid and high-voltage electrical industry to spend their time building new business and upselling existing customers. You will also be tasked with working with engineering firms, working on RFPs and general contractors in the field. You are a rep who has had success in building and have a track record to show. We are looking for someone who can budget and sell while taking gross profit into consideration.
Territory: Province of Quebec
Work Place: Home office
Products/Services: Mid and High-voltage electrical products and services
Salary: $90,000-$100,000
Commissions/Bonus: $20k (first year)
Car allowance: $/km
Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20% (healthy amount of visits daily)
Languages: French and English
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical college diploma or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: less than 15% overnight travel required
Years’ of experience: 8 years' experience in the field required
Other requirements:
Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical energy sector is a must (medium and high voltage)

- Grow portfolio of customers by using contacts, networking and cold calling
- Understand clients' needs and translate into quotes and orders
- Create opportunities to quote on projects
- Work in collaboration with internal staff
- Resolve technical problems where needed
- Build long-term relationships
- Maintain a healthy amount of sales activities weekly
- Collaborate with your manager to establish sales budgets
- Maintain long term relationships with suppliers
- Maintains up to date information within CRM
