Our client is looking for an Account Manager in the medium and high voltage electrical industry. In this role you will have to invest most of your time in developing new business opportunities as well as increasing sales volume with existing customers. You will also be responsible for finding new clients. You are a representative who has had success in developing new opportunities and can provide a record of your previous successes. We are looking for someone who is able to establish a budget and make sales taking into account gross margin
Territory: Province of Quebec and Atlantic
Work Place: Home office
Products/Services: Mid and High-voltage electrical products and services
Salary: $90,000-$100,000
Commissions/Bonus: $20,000 to $40,000
Car allowance: $/km

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 70% vs 30% (RFP's, follow up, preparation, meetings)
Languages: French and English
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical college diploma or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: less than 15% overnight travel required
Years’ of experience: 8 years' experience in the field required
Other requirements:
Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical energy sector is a must (medium and high voltage)

Functions :
- Grow portfolio of customers by using contacts, networking and cold calling
- Understand clients' needs and translate into quotes and orders
- Create opportunities to quote on projects
- Work in collaboration with internal staff
- Resolve technical problems where needed
- Build long-term relationships
- Maintain a healthy amount of sales activities weekly
- Collaborate with your manager to establish sales budgets
- Maintain long term relationships with suppliers
- Maintains up to date information within CRM
Requirements:
