Profile: Our client is in the sustainable/recycling field, commonly referred to as e-waste and is looking for a solutions-oriented Senior Account Manager who will be responsible for 25-30 accounts. These accounts are enterprise and government in nature and some have existing business but the role is majority new business development within these accounts.

Territory: Ontario and Western Canada
Workplace: Home based
Products/Services: E-waste/Recycling services
Salary: Base $85,000-$100,000
Commissions/Bonus: $30,000-$35,000
Car allowance: $/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed
Other Benefits: Uncapped commissions + possibility of stock options
  
Functions:

• Drive new business by social selling, warm calls, referrals etc
• Develop existing book of business assigned
• Present our new solutions to existing customers
• Identify, develop and activate partnerships to generate leads
• Perform quarterly reviews with all clients
• Identify and develop public market customers
• Maintain, set, profitability objectives
• Maintain, company-set KPIs in terms of activities and growth objectives
• Maintain excellent records with the CRM

  
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30%
Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%
Languages: English
Education: College degree or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training
Overnight Travel: Up to 5 nights per month
Years of experience: 5 years selling experience , especially to major accounts
Other requirements: Understanding of technology, particularly telecom would be an asset
Transferable contacts: Experience selling to CIO, CTOs and IT folks is a major asset
Transferable Knowledge:

• Strategic selling experience is a must
• Selling to large enterprise accounts a must
