Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of customized packaging solutions selling to many different types of industries such as beverage, food, personal care, pharmaceutical, industrial and many more. They are looking for a business development representative with a proven track record in sales to join their fast paced and high energy team. You will be responsible for increasing sales by prospecting and retaining your accounts that you sell.  If you are looking for a place to build a career, receive excellent sales coaching and guidance, participate in sales contests, president's club and be part of a motivating sales team this position might be for you!

Territory: GTA

Work Place: Home office

Products/Services: Customized packaging solutions

Salary: 75,000$

Commissions/Bonus:$15,000-$20,000 first year + (Uncapped commissions)

Car allowance: 750$ monthly

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

Identifies business opportunities by discovering prospects and identifying their needs
Identify product improvement or new product presentation by staying abreast of industry trends
Work on and present quotes to clients 
Follow up’s 
Meet and exceed sales objectives
Client visits
Collaborates with the Sales Manager and internal resources to present customized solutions
Develops strong business relationships in order to retain the business
Uses a consultative and innovative sales approach


Development vs Maintenance:100% vs 0% the first year

Road vs Office:60% vs 40%

Languages: English

Education: Bachelor’s degree is highly considered as an asset

Training: Full intensive training provided by the company

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 4 to 8 years in a business development role

Other requirements:

Must have a proven track record in business developement
High sense of urgency
Strong time management skills
Great follow up skills
You are able to multi-task  
You have a hunter mentality
