Pre Sale Engineer – Remote (Bilingual)

Our client offers different digital transaction solutions for enterprise, healthcare, higher education and government organizations and they are looking for a Presales Engineer who has experience with Saas solutions.
As a Pre Sale Engineer, you will report to the VP and support the sales team by interacting with all involved during the sales process.  Your involvement during the discovery, demos, presentations, responses to RFPs and other sales activities will deliver revenue.

Commissions/Bonus: $25,000 - $30,000 on target

  • Perform technical presentations based on client needs 
  • Analyze business requirements and provide solutions that meet the needs of the client
  • Create detailed architecture design documentation and communicate it effectively to the client
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Collaborate with project managers, software developers, and Account Executives
  • Provide technical support to development teams during the design and implementation phase
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends, and recommend updates and changes to the architecture as necessary
  • Mentor and train other technical teams in architecture and design best practices.
  • Self-motivated with a consistent track record in technical software sales and knowledge of technology.
Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%
Road vs Office: 20% vs 80% home office
Languages: French and English (bilingual essential)
Education: University degree of equivalent experience
Training: Full on the job training provided
Overnight Travel: approximately 15 nights per year
Years of experience: At least 5 years in a similar role with a track record

Transferable contacts: Has sold solutions into enterprise, higher education and government business units
Transferable Knowledge:
Proficient in MS Office
