Our client sells labels to the fashion industry. They sell a solution to large, national retailers across Canada and are looking for a Sales representative who is strategic in their approach, used to longer sales cycles and has an eye for fashion. Your role will be to sell new business (80%) and upsell to existing customers (20%). The person we seek is comfortable with social media and social selling.
Territory: Province of Quebec
Workplace: Montreal (2 days at office)
Products/Services: Labels for clothing
Salary: Base $70,000-$75,000
Commissions/Bonus: $20,000
Car allowance: Car allowance and gas expensed
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions :
Identify prospects who fit into our potential client base (manufacturers and retailers)
Identify and engage C-level executives
Propose solutions based on their needs and market
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Up-sell and cross-sell into existing accounts
Input sales activities weekly into CRM
Participate in company sessions for the development of new products
Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure customer timelines are met
Collaborate with overseas partners
Work hand in hand with company senior managers with regards to the competitive landscape
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%
Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%
Languages: French and English
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required
Years of experience: 3 years experience in a similar role required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills
