Our client is a premium (gourmet) food manufacturer and is looking for a sales representative to take care of their clients in Ontario area and build with new clients. If you are a "foodie" with sales experience, this could be a position for you. You will sell to the end users but also interact, at times with the distributor. Your goal will be the grow our business, educate our clients, increase our visibility and follow up on their orders.
Territory: Greater Toronto area
Workplace: Work from home (local to GTA)
Products/Services: Gourmet food
Salary: Base $60,000
Commissions/Bonus: $10,000 annually
Car allowance: $/km
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:
Meet with clients on a regular basis
Introduce, our different products to them
Meet with users such as chefs, pastry-makers and bakers
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Prospect for new clients
Provide assistance in order tracking for clients
Report on sales activities to management
Organize targeted promotional activities
Organize and attend trade shows
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 50% existing clients+30% prospecting+20% other
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: English (written and spoken)
Education: College degree or equivalent
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: Less than 10% overnight required
Years of experience: At least 2 years in the food industry required
